Arab Horse - 100 piastre

This stamp honors regional heritage, biological history, and noble tradition by showcasing the distinct profile of a thoroughbred Arabian horse ("Cheval Arabe") standing proudly against a desert landscape. Renowned for its endurance, intelligence, and deep historical connection to nomadic life and equestrian mastery in the Levant, the horse serves as a powerful symbol of beauty, strength, and purebred lineage. The central vignette is framed on both sides by rich, interlocking geometric arabesque borders that highlight traditional Syrian design and decorative arts, creating a cohesive cultural statement that reinforces national identity and ancestral pride through one of the region's most celebrated living icons.
